Graphics |
There are two types of still graphics on a computer:
- vector drawn graphics
- bit mapped graphics
Vector drawn graphics
- also called drawing or object orientated graphics
- images produced are made up of boxes, circles and lines such as plans for a house
- are created and manipulated using Drawing application software
Bitmapped graphics
- also called painting or pixel graphics
- images produced are made up of dots where a large amount of detail is required such as logos or photograph
- are created and manipulated using Painting application software
